Grandma Singletons Strong Traditional Lancashire
Named after the founder of Singleton’s Dairy; Grandma Singleton's is the strongest Traditional Lancashire available and is aged for a minimum of ten months. It is semi-soft in consistency and slightly crumbly with rich yellow colour and a strong, tangy flavour. A favourite for lovers of strong cheese
Little Black Bomber
Select & smooth extra mature cheddar in a black wax, the body of the cheese is golden or light straw in colour, firm but malleable, slightly weak but not pasty or over acid.
Cornish Yarg
Yarg is somewhere between a cheddar and a Caerphilly, it has a moist and supple texture with a light citrus flavour and a distinctive nettle-leaf coating. A Cornish-sounding name was given to the cheese - 'Yarg'. This is in fact the original makers' name 'Gray' spelt backwards but it possessed the Cornish feel that was needed.
Cashel Blue
Cashel Blue is a semi-soft blue cows’ milk cheese. It is unique, as it is Ireland’s first farmhouse blue cheese. It is all made on the dairy farm of Jane and Louis Grubb nr Cashel in Co. Tipperary Ireland. While some milk is purchased, the majority of the milk comes from the pedigree Friesian dairy herd on the farm. The cheese is made from pasteurised whole milk.
Shropshire English Blue
Shropshire Blue is a cheese made from pasteurized cows' milk and uses vegetable rennet. The orange colour comes from the addition of annatto, a natural food colouring. It has been described as a cross between Stilton and Cheshire. Penicillium roqueforti produces the veining.
Golden Cross Goats Cheese
Golden Cross is a St Maure style cheese made daily on the farm from the milk of our own herd of goats. Each log is lightly charcoaled and becomes denser, creamier and fuller flavoured as it matures.
Somerset Brie
Somerset Brie is creamy with a mild, fresh flavour and a soft edible white rind. The curd is the colour of straw, as it ripens from the outside in, it becomes softer, richer and with a fuller flavour.??Stinking Bishop?A sticky orange rind with a pungent and spirited aroma. The texture can vary from firm to soft and creamy depending on the seas
